the anime fails to capture just HOW down bad Loki is for Baldr. When Yui is trying to convince Loki to join a club she wants to join the tennis club solely for Baldr and when he suggests he leave so she have space I am pretty sure she storms off the court. when she says she is "going home" for the going home club she actually just follows Baldr around in whatever he's doing. they SLEEP IN THE SAME BED WHEN LOKI GETS COLD ON RAINY NIGHTS FOR GODS SAKE.

Baldr's route is a lot less loki centric than Loki's route is Baldr centric but she's still absolutely there. she basically sees Yui as a romantic rival until she switches gear and tries to help her escape Baldr (the cons of being the literal only person in this route who is sound of mind).

after the fake dating arc baldr gets pissed at her for cockblocking him (aka being a decent person and saving yui) and Baldr's like WHY ARE YOU SO OBSESSED WITH ME?? DO YOU HAVE A SECRET CRUSH ON ME OR SOMETHING? which GIRLLLL CHILL IT DOWN THAT WAS A LOW BLOW YOU CANT JUST SAY THAT??? LOKI GODSPEED FOR NOT STARTING TO CHOP HEADS OFF THERE AND THEN BECAUSE WHAT THE HELL did i mention baldr is a BITCH

now when talking about why Loki is transgender I could go on for hours. like for starters look at her

her summer uniform has big naturals and you can't unsee it now. but anyways just LOOK AT HER no one is looking at that and thinking ah yes. cishet man. like not to profile but congrats queen I'm glad the estrogen's working out for you.

but alsooooo from a thematic point of view she has transgender vibes but in a way which contrasts Baldr's vibes like. Loki is ostracized and feels like everyone hates her because a lot of people to. everyone loves Baldr, but in a superficial and fake way, and he knows there are things inside him which will change how everyone will view him if they knew. and sometimes being trans feels like having to choose between the two, either you gotta live a fake life or you gotta risk losing people close to you.

Baldr is intersex transmasc 2 me. I have no evidence for this and I do not need evidence for this because I am right about everything all the time.
